Courses
The two types of courses on offer are those we have been running for the past seven years. The Château de la Guerche has been organising study tours for French students for the past twenty years. Our professionalism and dedication are unparalleled. If you have different requirements to those listed in the programmes, we would be happy to discuss and implement changes to the programme.
For example, as far as the A Level Course is concerned, specialist talks can be given on the Education System, the Political system, other aspects of Law and Order, Social Issues, Racism, Minority groups, the Media, Pollution and the Environment, the European Constitution etc. Just let us know and we shall tailor the programme according to the specific needs of your students.
The 10-14 Year Old Course is just as flexible. The one we have designed provides a good mixture of study, relaxation and fun. It is extremely popular with the students but we are always open to new ideas and different suggestions
On both courses there are two French moniteurs who stay with the students at all times. They are in charge of their general welfare, speak French to them at all times, get them up in the morning and see to all their needs from morning till night. The Manager of the Chateau is there at all times too to ensure that the programme runs smoothly.
Travel
You may prefer to go via another route than Dover - Calais, and from Portsmouth to Le Havre instead. Le Havre is only 45 minutes to one hour by coach to the Château. Were you to choose that route, the cost per participant would be lower especially if you decide against the Paris trip.
